It has been almost 2 months since Blogger introduced the “Stats” feature. Now they have gone a step further by introducing 2 Gadgets related to the “Stats”. Blogger has now got a “Popular Posts” Gadget and a “Blog’s Stats” Gadget.(These are currently available only on Blogger in Draft).

Blogger has always lacked such a gadget. There used to be some Yahoo Pipe based widgets, which list out the most commented posts. But these were pretty slow and inefficient. The Random Posts Gadget will display a list of Random Posts(from your blog) on your Blog’s Sidebar. The Gadget has an options panel and can be configured to meet your needs. The Gadget inherits styles from your Blog. But you can override the colors if you want(this was done to support third party templates which doesn’t have the skin variables properly designed).

/ Saudi King Abdullah to buy Facebook for $150 billion to end the revolt
Left with no option, Abdullah advised by Goldman Sachs has decided to buy out Facebook and “clean out the weeds”. The offer on the table is $150 billion. Facebook balance sheet was shown to King Abdullah and his kingdom advisors had mentioned that it is not even worth $1 billion given that it generates no profit. But the King threw the report into the dustbin and fired his advisors and decided to hand over the investment banking mandate to Goldman Sachs who put the value at $150 billion. The deal will be all cash. It is worthwhile to remind our readers that Goldman Sachs had invested into Facebook at an unimaginable $50 billion valuation.
Videos and images can help you in improving your Blog Posts. There are many methods of adding a video to your blogger post. There are millions of videos available on YouTube. If you look at the right side of every YouTube page you will see an embed code.
Copy out this Embed Code into you blogger post editor and paste in into your blog post. Now when you publish the post you would be able to see the video in your blog post.
If you have a video on your computer, and you need to get it into a blog post, then you can upload the video right from your post editor. The video should be in one of the permissible formats and should be below 100 Mega Bytes in size.
If you don't prefer to upload your video via blogger, then you can upload it at YouTube Meta Cafe or some other video sharing sites and then use their video embed code within the post.
